TESTIMONIALS

“Resa provided an expectational presentation for the University of Miami student athlete population entitled, LGBTQ, Race & Sport. Her presentation was impactful and well received by our students and staff. She provides an informative, kind and honest delivery that truly resonates. She also provided a safe space after her presentation, where students could gather and engage in private conversations, which were powerful.

Resa’s presentation helped our students move forward with the implementation of an  Athlete Ally organization, which provides support to student athletes who identify as LGBTQ and their allies. Resa didn’t just provide us with a program, she provided us an opportunity for growth and to become a more inclusive department for all of our student athletes.”

“As the Commissioner of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) the conference hosted a one-day event for student-athletes, a topic for discussion during the conference was diversity. Resa Lovelace was our speaker, after hearing about her work with the NCAA Common Ground and advocacy of LGBTQ rights, she was a perfect fit to speak to SLIAC college students. She was engaging and authentic, she shared personal stories and experiences which were powerful examples for her audience.

Resa is a professional in every sense of the word. She took time in advance of the conference to work through ideas for the session, what key points should be addressed, and seeking feedback about the direction she was taking the talk. She is personable, ready to interact with her audience between sessions and at meal times. I appreciated how she took time to have a conversation with anyone that approached. Highly recommended!”

“I had the pleasure of having Resa on my podcast, The Bloom Pod, for a special National Association for Athletic Academic Advisors and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) episode. As a panelist, she shared how her background in college athletics led her to the work she does today in Student-Athlete Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Resa is down-to-earth and passionate about the work she does, which makes it easy for her to relate to any audience. Resa = Resource!”
